brief introduction
The MEYJ-5008 voltage drop and load tester calibration device is a new product developed by our company to meet the fast and convenient calibration of PT transformer secondary voltage drop and load testers. It is suitable for calibration of secondary voltage drop and load testers by various levels of metrology institutes and electrical science institutes. Using digital synthesis power supply, the output is stable and the distortion is small. The instrument adopts self calibration technology, which can make real-time correction and adjustment of the output, and has a large testing range. The maximum working current output is 6A, and the working voltage output can reach 120V, which is very suitable for use by power metering departments.
According to the definition of the basic error of a transformer, its error can be divided into ratio difference (f) and phase difference (δ). In terms of definition, ratio difference and phase difference do not affect each other, which means that the error of the transformer should be measured and studied using the polar coordinate system, also known as the direct method. However, for a long time, both domestically and internationally, the Cartesian coordinate system has been used as the basic measurement criterion, also known as the measurement difference method. This method is simple and practical, with many advantages. However, for wireless pressure drop testers that do not have the necessary differential pressure signals for differential measurement in calibration and testing scenarios, they may exhibit significant deviations from theoretical values when both the ratio and angle differences have big data, especially in the case of large angle differences. This can cause some confusion in the metrological calibration of secondary pressure drop testers, including almost all national level institutions. Metrology institutes and electrical science institutes do not have mature direct polar coordinate system overall calibration devices to calibrate wireless pressure drop testers. If traditional differential measurement method overall calibration devices are used as standards, it will introduce considerable theoretical errors to a certain extent. Currently, as an emergency measure, various metrological institutions do not have mature direct polar coordinate system overall calibration devices to calibrate wireless pressure drop testers. The methods used are mostly in-phase or quadrature separate delivery, and the angle difference cannot be large, If the quantity is sent at the same time, only a small standard error can be sent, which is significantly different from the actual working state of the tested instrument. Therefore, these measures to avoid large numbers are only an approximate simple calibration scheme with insufficient rigor. Given that the two coordinate systems are applicable to different objects and the calibration requirements of wireless voltage drop testers are very extensive, the MEYJ-5008 voltage drop and load tester calibration device has the automatic conversion function between Cartesian and polar coordinate systems, which will help further improve the metrological calibration work of transformers and their calibration instruments in China.
